» » Pogba, Hererra, and Rashford Returns To Training Ahead of Sevilla Clash

Paul Pogba has trained with his Manchester United team-mates ahead of their huge Champions League clash with Sevilla.

The 24-year-old missed Saturday's win against Huddersfield through illness, which the club announced on the morning of the game, and was replaced by youngster Ethan Hamilton.

But, having returned to training on Sunday, Pogba took part in a full session - just hours before United's squad flew out to Seville. And the good news did not stop there.

Marcus Rashford, Ander Herrera and Zlatan Ibrahimovic were all put through their paces under the watchful eye of Jose Mourinho after putting their respective injury troubles behind them.

Ibrahimovic, in particular, was a surprise inclusion - having not played since Boxing Day. The 36-year-old has been out of action since December 26 after suffering a recurrence of the knee injury that cruelly ended his season last year.

Rashford and Herrera, meanwhile, missed United's last two games, against Newcastle and Huddersfield, but are now back in contention ahead of that huge game at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium.

But Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo, Marouane Fellaini and Daley Blind were not spotted at open training.

Following the win against Huddersfield in the FA Cup Mourinho told reporters he was dealing with a number of injury issues.

"I didn’t rest anyone other than [David] De Gea," he stressed. "Can we recover some of them for Wednesday? I think [Marcus] Rashford, [Ander] Herrera, [Antonio] Valencia have a chance.

"Paul Pogba? I don’t know. [Marcos] Rojo, [Phil] Jones, [Marouane] Fellaini, Zlatan [Ibrahimovic], I don’t think they have any chance."

United are in the last 16 of the competition for the first time since in four years and Ashley Young thinks United can go all the way this season.

"Can we win the Champions League? Of course," he said. "You don't enter a competition not to win it. That's what we will be looking to do and take each game as it comes. The next one is against Sevilla. We just have to concentrate on ourselves."
