Let us take some time and take a look at the post Sir Alex Ferguson era to pre José Mourinho era and see the downfall of Manchester United under David Moyes and Louis Van Gaal and the rise of the best team in the universe under Jose Mourinho.
In season one this is the period David Moyes took charge after the greatest coach in the history of football had resigned. We thought that it was going to be easy task and we didn't have the knowledge of how important SAF was to our beloved Club, most certainly we thought that he was just another coach who could be replaced with ease, but that wasn't the case.
On this season of Life After Feggie (LAF) during the pre season tour in the United States we played against the likes of Real Madrid and Barca and we defeated them. We all loved the chosen one prior to the 2013-14 season, but that changed when we were walloped by Swansea.
The the type of play we played back then was miserable to say the least. We played with no rhythm. It was cross cross cross and we were reduced to a mid-table team. Imagine a great team like Man United having an 18 year old lad (Januzaj) as his Star player.
It was a disgrace and as if it wasn't enough the media launched their anti mufc campaign. No matter how hard we tried to defend our beloved club on social media it was never good enough and t his was really painful that the best team in the Universe had been reduced to ashes.
We played dull matches with no rhythm and we lost matches on regular bases. It was a great relief when Moyes was finally fired. As if this wasn't enough we brought forward Louis Van Gaal.
Stay with us here @ Man United Fans Universe for the second season of Life After Feggie (LAF).
