» » Second For Jose, In Jose's Second?

Jose Mourinho has already accepted defeat in the conquest of Premier league to Pep Guardiola, but now the remaining few seats for direct qualification of Champions League heats up.

Team Form:

United haven't been in greatest of forms in 2018, with Reds losing at Wembley and St James's Park and fought an uninspiring draw in  Seville.

But a comeback victory against Chelsea at Old Trafford has certainly given them hope.

 Fixtures:

Liverpool visit United at Old Trafford in few days of time, which could be the penultimate game of the season for both the teams, and Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool come with a series of big wins.

Next United visit their noisy neighbors at Etihad, and then prepare for Arsenal visit.

Other fixtures include games against bottom half of the league that could change dynamics of both sides of the league.

Remaining fixtures: March 5 - Crystal Palace (A); March 10 - Liverpool (H); March 31 - Swansea City (H); April 7 - Manchester City (A); April 14 - West Bromwich Albion (H); April 21 - Bournemouth (A); April 28 - Arsenal (H); May 5 - Brighton and Hove Albion (A); May 13 - Watford (H).

Competitions:

With City all but destined to win the league, United would priotise FA Cup which they are favorites to win, after Wigan defeated City again, and the Champions League.

Team News:

Likes of Pogba, Alexis and Martial are enduring barren run, whilst Lukaku is getting into his rhythm and Lingard is continuing his good run.

David De Gea is again at his best, and should certainly win Player of the Year award.

With also Lindelof showing his class, Bailly returning and Shaw showing glimpses of past it is certainly good time for any United fan.

X- Factor:

David De Gea:

No surprise that he's linked with Real Madrid and is one the best in the world if not the best, with him consistently showing, why he might be the only world class player in this group of United players.

He has won them dozens of points, especially against Arsenal, Liverpool and Sevilla.

With likes of Lukaku coming back to form and team having Pogba and Alexis, the consistentcy and his work rate and his form, make David De Gea the X-factor of Manchester United.

How much Papa Perez would be hating his fax machine, and United fans loving the fax machine can be clearly predicted.

Predicted finish:

Top 3:

Even though United, are playing well, but Liverpool have a better run of fixtures and therefore nothing can't be predicted of the position, but United should easily qualify directly for Champions League.
