I'll agree it's not have been impressive especially the upset at St. James's Park, defeat at Wembley by no means is acceptable considering our game, even though I accept winning and losing is a part of the game, and Spurs play amazing at home, yet it's no excuse for us playing bad.
The playing style is deteriorating, to such an extent that fans are already calling for Jose's head.
It's a fact that even I admit, that having such a great bunch of players and a world renowned manager, we expect the performances to be definitely better, especially when we are Manchester United.
But the million dollar question is, that is it correct to sack Jose? Many people believe so.
To be different from the mob, I disagree that Jose should be sacked. Sack Jose just because of few inconsistent weeks? And because United are playing defensive? Well we are the only team to come back from Anfield with the clean sheet, the pioneer once again being David De Gea who saved our bushes, but it has to go to Jose for organizing the team, true we could've played attacking and won, or we could've conceded 4 like City did. And like the Great Scot used to say defense wins you titles and attack wins you games.
The people who are calling the head of Jose are the same ones who used to applaud the 4-0s and used to say that Jose the boss. Have they forgotten the 3-1 at Emirates or scoring 3 in last 10 minutes against Everton? To name a few.
We have also lost against Bristol and Newcastle not forgetting that, but we can't just keep sacking managers because we have a bad game or two. It not only affects the public reputation but also the team.
How many players have we signed since last three managers, Moyes, LVG and Jose? And yet half the team we field is from Fergie Era, we need consistentcy at helm of the club.
And not only for those reasons, there's no actual reason why we should sack Jose. Last season we won 3 trophies, qualified for Champions League. This season we are going to end in the top 3, and have won the Champions League group (although an easy group no disrespect to anyone), and have a great chance to win it.
Young players are getting chances, Mctominay, Shaw, Rashford, Lingard, Martial, Andreas Perriera left, but Mourinho wanted him.
We have signed Alexis, Zlatan, Pogba, Lukaku by showing them our power and project.
We have beaten the European champions and World Champions Real Madrid to be at the top of financial chart.
And yes it'll take the some period of time, to reach the same old heights.
Till that time we must remain patient. Therefore whatever happens, I stand by Jose, and Jose is still the right man for Man united job.
